The historic former Lincoln School in Brockton enjoyed a long history filled with the community’s young students. Now, this beautiful Richardsonian Romanesque building dating back to 1896 will be repurposed into high-quality, affordable housing for those who need it most. Davis Square Architects worked with Housing Solutions for Southeastern MA and NeighborWorks of Southern Mass to design the restoration and transformation of the Lincoln School into 39 affordable apartments for seniors, including space for a community room, parking and an onsite manager and services coordinator. The project received funding through historic tax credits.
