The Westford Home for Veterans

Wanting to provide veterans with a safe, affordable place to call home, CHOICE worked with Davis Square Architects to transform a former nightclub into five new units of housing for veterans and their families. What was once a cinderblock building is now a mix of three two-bedroom and two one-bedroom apartments.

With its abundance of natural light and cozy, welcoming colors, the family-friendly development features a basketball court as well as a children’s play area.

Residents also have access to the Chelmsford Housing Authority’s work-based family self-sufficiency program, which provides assistance with services such as education, job training, financial literacy and counseling.
