Davis Square Architects partnered with Valley Community Development Corporation and Way Finders on Northampton Lumber Yard, a new construction, mixed-use development which transforms a former abandoned lumber yard into 55 units of affordable rental housing as well as 20,000 sf of office space and 2,500 sf of commercial and retail space.
Centrally located in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts, this collaborative project provides residents with high-quality, affordable and sustainable living, and access to the many cultural, commercial, educational, and transportation opportunities the city has to offer.
Designed to reflect the historic aspects of buildings nearby, the development also continues to promote the revitalization and vibrancy of the neighborhood.
