A leading provider of senior affordable housing and supportive services, Bethany Communities has teamed with Davis Square Architects on Merrimack Place, a new residence in downtown Haverhill located on their Merrivista Campus. DSA is also renovating the existing 148-unit Merrivista building to modernize the infrastructure and life-safety systems throughout the building.
A skywalk will connect the new Merrimack Place building to the existing residence, allowing all residents to take advantage of the expanded services. Some project highlights include an expanded wellness center, nursing area and medical services; a large community center and activity room; and a new exercise facility and space for group classes. Merrimack Place is designed to meet all requirements for Passive House certification.
