Landmark Prep School & Outreach Center

An historic barn with a carriage ramp and wooden bridge on Landmark’s high school campus inspired our design for a new Prep School and Outreach Center for students with learning disabilities. The exterior preserves the residential scale of the surrounding neighborhood, while the two-and-a-half-storied entry lobby features the restored bridge and an open steel stair that entwines a new elevator.

The renovation and new construction includes a classroom wing with science lab, while an interior glass-block wall maximizes natural daylight in classrooms. All of the spaces are carefully oriented, sized, and detailed to accommodate the special needs of the students.
