Cleaves Court Dimock-Bragdon Apartments

Located in Roxbury’s Egleston Square neighborhood, Cleaves Court Dimock-Bragdon Apartments is the uniting of two affordable housing communities, Cleaves Court Apartments and Dimock Bragdon Apartments, to form 90 units that remain affordable to lower-income families for the next 30 years. Davis Square Architects worked closely with the owner, Urban Edge, on extensive renovations that provide handicap accessibility, preserve long-term affordability, and restore an invaluable asset to the neighborhood.

As the 19-building development dates back to the turn of the 20th century, special care was taken to ensure that the historic character was preserved and enhanced. Among the improvements were unit renovations, building system upgrades, masonry repairs, and roof and window replacement.
