37-61 Union Street
37–61 Union Street is a six-building, century-old mill complex located in Attleboro, MA, ideally situated adjacent to an MBTA Commuter Rail station connecting to both Boston and Providence. Davis Square Architects is preparing a master plan and renovation designs for the adaptive reuse of the entire site as a stylish, affordable residential apartment community complete with parking, internal greenspaces, workout and function rooms, and on-site management.
The first phase will provide 50 apartments, with the total count expected to reach 110 units. Parts of the complex are listed on the Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service, and 37 Union Street is also known as the Foster Building, once home to a bustling jewelry factory. The project plays an important role in the revitalization of downtown Attleboro, and will provide high-quality affordable housing to residents and families.
