33-41 Farnsworth Street

33-41 Farnsworth Street is located in the dynamic Seaport District of Boston, and is a perfect example of the historic warehouse buildings that give the neighborhood its appeal and charm. The owners needed to update the cramped building lobby, and asked Davis Square Architects to fully reconfigure the space to showcase the original wood structure while adding a vibrant, updated look and feel to attract more visitors. The renovation required major structural changes, a new accessible lift and vestibule enclosure, and reconfiguration of all mechanical systems.

Our design also included entirely new finishes, custom wall graphics and lighting to create a showcase lobby and destination for building users and visitors.
