Kevin Vician joined Davis Square Architects as a Project Architect in 2017 and has over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of single-family homes and multifamily developments; he has a special passion for adaptive reuse projects. Kevin brings expertise in project management, leading teams from a project’s concept to completion while ensuring quality control throughout all phases. His in-depth knowledge of code and strong attention to detail keeps projects running on budget and on time.

Kevin’s current and recent projects include the renovation and restoration of the former Lincoln School in Brockton. Working with NeighborWorks Housing Solutions, this beautiful and historic Richardsonian Romanesque building is being repurposed into 39 high-quality, affordable apartments for seniors, including space for a community room, parking and an on-site manager and services coordinator. The award-winning Union Mills 37 project included the full renovation of an historic factory in Attleboro into 59 units of affordable and work force apartments, located adjacent to a MBTA Commuter Rail station. Kevin’s other current work includes Phase 2 at Chestnut Crossing with Home City Development: this phase of the renovation of the former YMCA of Greater Springfield will provide an additional 29 enhanced Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units, adding to the existing 101 units on the first and second floors.

A few of Kevin’s other notable projects include Bartlett Station Building A in Roxbury; the multiple award-winning Squirrelwood Apartments and the George Close Building, both in Cambridge with Just A Start Corporation; and the Church Green Townhomes in Taunton.

Throughout his career, Kevin has contributed to business development and sales, as well as internal marketing and branding initiatives. His leadership abilities and wide experience have also lent themselves to mentoring and training designers and colleagues in the field.
