🧟♂️🎃👻 Zombies in downtown Brockton?! Just in time for Halloween, filming for Walking Dead: Dead City took over VFW Parkway, right next to our project at 142 Main Street. Throngs of fans watched as the undead roamed near the future site of 30 modern apartments and 3,500 sf of first-floor commercial space.
This Classical Revival gem, originally Kennedy’s Department Store (built in 1917 by the renowned firm Martin & Hall), is being brought back to life with nearly $5 million in state and federal investments. The renovation preserves stunning historic details like tin ceilings, detailed woodwork, and stairwells, while transforming the space into a modern, all-electric, energy-efficient building with gorgeous views of City Hall.
