Exciting news from Dorchester! Our client, Vietnamese American Initiative for Development (VietAID) has filed plans for Hollins Park, a new four-story, 33-unit affordable housing community at 190 Bowdoin Street.
All apartments will be reserved for households earning no more than 60% of the Boston area median income, including 8 deeply affordable homes for residents earning 30% AMI or less, with half set aside for families transitioning out of homelessness.
Located in the close-knit community of Dorchester’s Bowdoin North/Mount Bowdoin neighborhood, and ideally situated on several bus lines, Hollins Park will be designed to rigorous Passive House and Enterprise GREEN sustainability standards, and provide a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments to help preserve affordability.
