Kicking off ArchWeek 2025, DSA’s Laura Cella-Mowatt was at the Boston Society for Architecture’s annual KidsBuild! event. Always a wonderful opportunity for introducing young designers to the possibilities of architecture, planning, design, and construction, kids get a hands-on experience of the entire A/E/C process by teaming up with volunteer design professionals as they build a fictional city from the ground up out of recycled materials. The best part? Each building is then awarded a certificate of occupancy from the city building inspectors. Congratulations to this year’s fabulous young designers and their creations!
