Construction at 9 Leyland Street is progressing quickly! Located near Upham's Corner on Leyland Street in Dorchester, the new community will include 43 affordable senior living apartments. The development is a partnership between Hebrew SeniorLife and Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation. A future resident will enjoy this view of the skyline from the windows in their apartment! Residents will be surrounded with 360 degrees of support including engaging cultural, educational, recreational, and fitness programs; nutritional assistance; and wellness services. Construction is expected to be complete in the summer of 2023.
