A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Bartlett Station, Building B, one of Davis Square Architects’ recently completed projects in Roxbury! Led by Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation’s Executive Director David Price, the ceremony featured remarks from Nuestra’s Board Treasurer Kelvin Juarbe, Mayor Marty Walsh, State Representative Chynah Tyler, Harvard University President Larry Bacow, City Councilor Kim Janey, and developer Arnold Johnson of Windale Developers. DSA worked closely with Nuestra and Windale to design Building B, a transit-oriented, mixed-use development with nearly 14,000 sf of commercial space, and 60 units of affordable and market-rate rental housing with a variety of sustainable elements and technologies. Building B is the first phase of Bartlett Station, a new LEED-ND 10-building, 367-unit mixed-use neighborhood just outside Dudley Square, which was also masterplanned by DSA. https://www.baystatebanner.com/2019/08/21/bartlett-station-cuts-ribbon-on-76-unit-housing-complex/
