Davis Square Architects’ Laura Cella-Mowatt was at Harvest of Hope Benefit, House of Hope's annual event. This year’s theme was “Homecoming”, and a great time to celebrate all of House of Hope’s outstanding efforts, with Executive Director Deb Chausse applauding the work of her staff as well as support from many in the community who have made their accomplishments possible. The gala was held in Lowell, MA at New Hope 3 at 98 Smith Street, one of Davis Square Architects’ current projects, which is scheduled to start renovation work in 2018. The project scope includes renovations to the 1840 home, plus a new addition. Once complete, the new building will house 17 formerly-homeless families and a resident manager. With the completion of New Hope 3, House of Hope will have the capacity to serve 58 families in shelter and 39 families in permanent housing.
