A ribbon-cutting was held last Friday to commemorate the opening of Haverhill Veterans Housing, one of Davis Square Architects’ newly completed projects. The project consists of 3 new construction apartment buildings with a total of 27 units – 7 of which are fully handicap accessible – to meet the needs of veterans. The development is a welcome addition to the Haverhill neighborhood, utilizing two former vacant lots and an underused parking lot. Residents can also easily access the Veterans’ Northeast Outreach Center services, such as job readiness training, community meals, and health and wellness classes.
