The Acorn Center for Early Education and Care

Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center’s mission is to ensure that the children, youth, and families they serve have the resources and support needed to achieve greater economic success and social well-being. We were excited to partner with them on The Acorn Center, a multiphase improvements project that is now home to a full-day, bilingual Chinese and English childcare program for children between 15 months to 5 years old.

Located in the heart of Chinatown, the project provides safe, supportive spaces to kids, families and educators. In addition to classrooms and administrative space, the facility includes a renovated sixth-floor rooftop playground offering a vibrant space for growth and learning, where children can explore nature-inspired play and outdoor fun.
