Scott Woodward

LEED GA
Designer

Scott Woodward joined Davis Square Architects in 2016 as a designer. He brings a wide range of experience, focusing on sustainability and specializing in academic and medical facilities. Prior to joining the firm Scott was most recently with Miller Dyer Spears, where he oversaw construction observation phases of projects such as large-scale renovations for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as renovations and additions to the University of New Hampshire’s dining facility.

Scott is currently working on a combined renovation and new construction affordable housing project just outside of Cambridge’s Inman Square neighborhood. The renovations consist of improvements to Linwood Court, an 8-building woodframe development dating back to the early 1900s, and also Squirrel Brand, a former candy factory masonry building turned into 18 units of housing. 12 to 20 proposed new units will be added to the Linwood Court property.

Scott’s interest in best sustainable practices have led him to become a LEED Green Associate and certified in Building Performance Analysis. He is also an NCARB Auxiliary Coordinator. Outside of the office, he enjoys painting, sketching, and playing on the office’s softball league.
