Miranda Stuckey

LEED Green Associate
Designer

Miranda Stuckey joined Davis Square Architects as a designer in 2017, after spending a year with the firm as an intern. Her organization, quick thinking and problem solving skills have contributed to many successful projects, spanning from capital needs assessments, historic occupied rehabs and new construction. Her experience also includes unit surveys, construction drawings, presentations and accessibility studies.

Miranda’s current projects include Brookings School, the adaptive reuse of a former historic school into affordable multifamily housing in Springfield, and renovations to the George Close Building, a former candy factory-turned affordable rental community in Cambridge. Previously, she worked on Memorial Square Apartments, an historic 56-unit scattered site affordable development in Springfield.

Miranda is a recent graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with both her Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Architecture. Her master’s thesis sought to reconnect a suburban neighborhood with the Indiana State Veterans’ Home, through a series of pavilions fostering interactions between younger and older generations as well as the surrounding landscape. Her love of travel has also led her to study abroad in places such as China and Nepal during her time at Wentworth.
