Matthew Drinon

Job Captain

Matt Drinon is a designer with more than 15 years of architectural design and construction monitoring experience. Throughout his career, Matt has worked on a variety of project types including residential, commercial, retail, transportation and transit facilities, banks, academic, and affordable housing.

Since joining Davis Square Architects in 2010, Matt has been involved with several of the firm’s largest and more challenging projects. He worked on Salem Point Apartments, a 77-unit scattered-site project in Salem, Massachusetts consisting of window replacement, masonry repairs, and roofing upgrades. Currently, he is working on a second moderate rehab project in Salem consisting of 8 buildings with 64 unit reconfigurations, kitchen and bath upgrades, as well as high-efficiency heating systems. The design will also transform two existing units into a 2,000 sf retail/restaurant space, and includes new historic windows and entryways, energy upgrades and masonry repairs. Matt is proud to say that his work on both Salem Point projects made it possible for the Point Neighborhood to be added to the National Register of Historic Districts.
