Job Captain

Kevin Mowatt joined Davis Square Architects in 2014. As a Job Captain, he works in Revit to develop and organize project information into construction documents. Being a Revit Certified Professional, he is also a strong advocate of BIM.

Currently, Kevin is working on Leyden Woods, the redevelopment of an existing development entailing new construction of 200 modular, factory-built Energy Star apartments, as well as site-wide improvements. The project consists of 49 buildings and will be built in 8 phases. He is also working on the next phase of ongoing renovations at Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House, which involves a comprehensive interior rehabilitation as well as exterior improvements.

Kevin’s interest for fine art and technology has aided him in his pursuits, and he discovered architecture to be a perfect blend of art and technical thinking. More recently, he has also acquired a passion for photography. Kevin’s desire to be creative drives his choice of pastimes and direction of his career path. He is also a LEED Green Associate.
