Jacob V. Bruneau

Construction Specialist

Jacob Bruneau has been with Davis Square Architects for 15 years. He serves as a construction specialist and clerk-of-the-works for many of the firm’s projects, managing all facets of the construction administration process through closeout. In his role as project team liaison, he works closely with fellow team members to ensure projects are of the highest quality, delivered smoothly on time and on budget. Jake has worked on Hope House, the new construction, 35,000 sf residential treatment center for men, expanding one of Boston’s oldest substance abuse treatment facilities’ offerings.

Among Jake’s current projects is Cortes Street, which will provide affordable housing options for extremely low-income, homeless or formerly homeless individuals. 48 single-room occupancies in three bow-front rowhouses will be transformed into a 40-unit residence, with the scope of work including accessibility upgrades, masonry restoration, new windows, and energy efficiency improvements.

Jake has taken several post-baccalaureate classes in construction management and technical construction, and is a licensed construction supervisor.
