Darrell E. Aldrich


Darrell Aldrich is an Associate and brings over 36 years of architectural experience and extensive knowledge in construction administration. He joined Davis Square Architects in 1995 and has worked on numerous residential developments, academic and institutional structures, private residences, and complex renovations to mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings.

Previous to joining Davis Square Architects, Darrell established Praxis Architecture, a small studio specializing in new, high-end single-family residences, commercial offices and historical renovations, with projects in Colorado, Vermont, and Massachusetts. His designs have been published in periodicals and textbooks.

Darrell has taught design studios and Building Construction Methods and Materials classes at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served on the Board of Directors for Citizens of Adequate Housing, Inc. Darrell is also the past Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for Manchester, Massachusetts and continues to volunteer his time for many local town activities.
