Davis Square Architects teamed up with Metro West Collaborative Development on Packard Street Commons, an exciting redevelopment of the former Town of Hudson police station site that includes a 31-unit community building and three smaller buildings with three townhomes each, totaling 40 affordable rental units for a variety of household incomes.
The project also brings a strong dedication to sustainability, with the community building designed to meet Passive House standards, the townhomes meeting LEED Homes v4 requirements, and all-electric utilities across the entire development. Other highlights include a spacious community room, bicycle racks, a shared patio, and parking.
Packard Street Commons provides a range of one- to three-bedroom apartments, and is a neighborhood-scaled project that balances housing with a variety of usable open spaces, common spaces and amenities.
