Expanding upon our first buildout of Diesel, Davis Square’s favorite café has been renovated with an updated façade, signage, décor, and service area. On pleasant days, two glass garage doors open the coffeehouse to the bustle of its own parklet on busy Elm Street. Diesel is a welcoming enclave of art, industrial design, and most importantly, excellent coffee drinks and breakfast/lunch fare.
Industrial and common materials create an interior of part art gallery, part living room, and part hardware store; while neon signage, industrial furniture and lighting, antique signs and a pool table all pair with automotive relics as the hallmarks of Diesel’s new look. Visionary clients and distinctive design have established Diesel Café as the high octane hangout in Somerville’s hippest neighborhood.
