3 Lockland Avenue

Davis Square Architects teamed with Wayside on this new group home, the first expansion on their campus in more than a decade. This facility provides much needed additional bedrooms and living space next to Wayside’s existing facility on a very tight site. With space for nine teens and supportive community spaces, the building provides many program elements on a small footprint. The project involved working with city and code officials to navigate security and code requirements, while maintaining a bright and welcoming interior.

As the need for Wayside’s services continues to grow, they have continued their partnership with DSA. The firm has assisted with the review and renovation of multiple existing buildings to provide additional space in communities around Framingham and central Massachusetts.
