The Tenants’ Development Corporation is currently working with Davis Square Architects to design new affordable senior housing in Boston’s South End neighborhood — an exciting 7-story, 38-unit affordable rental development at the corner of Lenox and Tremont streets in Roxbury will repurpose a long-standing vacant lot into a vibrant addition to the community.
20 apartments would serve seniors earning ≤30% of Boston’s AMI, with 18 reserved for those earning 50–60%. In addition to addressing the critical affordable senior housing shortage in Boston, 151 Lenox Street strengthens the local neighborhood’s existing fabric with homes that are responsive to community voices.
