115 units

Bowdoin Manor is an existing single-room occupancy (SRO) facility located on Beacon Hill, just steps away from Boston's State House. The 115 unit property is made up of three adjacent buildings of five stories each, plus basements. It serves a formerly homeless population by not only providing them a home, but also a balance of independence, support, and acceptance. A management office provides social service coordination to residents.

As a National Historic Landmark and located within the Beacon Hill Historic District, the building received new windows with trim and molding to match the historic character, masonry repairs, interior reconfiguration to improve egress and accessibility, new interior finishes, new energy-efficient boilers, and improvements and upgrades to electrical systems and fire safety systems.
