On Monday, DSA’s Adam Richter celebrated the completion of The Anne M. Lynch Homes at Old Colony in South Boston, which marked the final phase of the 15-year redevelopment of the Old Colony public housing community.
Featuring remarks from the Boston Housing Authority, Mayor Michelle Wu, Congressman Stephen F. Lynch, Darcy Jameson of Beacon Communities LLC, and long-term residents, the event marked an important milestone in the community’s transformation and recognized the partnerships that made it possible.
The project revitalizes an existing 847-unit affordable housing development by replacing it with 887 new homes that meet LEED and Passive House standards, while also providing new outdoor spaces and the Tierney Learning Center, which has become a staple of the local community.
Since 2010, DSA has served as a Lender Advisor reviewing the redevelopment in all phases of construction, so this was an especially meaningful day.
